Dear Parents and Prospective Student-Athletes,

 

Welcome to the Coginchaug Regional High School Athletics Department. As Director of Athletics, I am pleased to introduce you to our athletic program and look forward to working with you and your student-athlete(s) throughout your years at CRHS.

 

A successful athletic program is built on strong partnerships among student-athletes, families, coaches, the school, and the broader community. At Coginchaug, our coaches and staff are committed to providing a positive, inclusive, and meaningful experience for every student-athlete. Participation in athletics promotes teamwork, responsibility, and strong relationships with peers and mentors while fostering school pride and personal growth.

 

Guided by Regional School District 13's Core Ethical Values of Respect, Responsibility, Honesty, Kindness, and Courage, we strive to create an environment where every student-athlete is encouraged to compete with integrity, support their teammates, demonstrate accountability, and approach both success and adversity with character. While individual and team accomplishments are important, we believe true success extends far beyond wins and losses. Our programs emphasize a team-first approach supported by dedicated coaches, thoughtful athletic leadership, and a supportive school community.
