To be considered for any financial aid from the federal government and/or a college, you must fill out the FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid). The FAFSA becomes available on October 1st of the student’s senior year. The deadline for the FAFSA will be different for each college the student is applying to. Scholarships
All scholarships that come through the School Counseling Office will be posted in Naviance. To access a list of scholarships:
- Log into your Naviance Student Account
- Go to the College tab at the top of the page
- Find the Scholarships and Money heading and click on Scholarship List. You will see a list of scholarships, deadlines, maximum rewards, and other criteria. Click on the name of a scholarship to view the description and whether it is an online application through their website.
