Coginchaug Regional High School

Message from the New Principal

Coginchaug Regional High School Parents and Students,

I am privileged and honored in being named the new principal of Coginchaug Regional High School.  While I have only recently begun my official work in Region 13, I have had the opportunity over the past several weeks to learn about the high school and its numerous achievements.   I feel fortunate to be joining an outstanding group of students, an amazing faculty and the Durham and Middlefield communities.

Over the first few months of school, I plan to build upon Mr. Donald Gates' efforts to make the high school a warm and inviting place for students to learn.   My goal will be to introduce myself to as many people as possible and begin to learn more about each of our students.  Throughout the remainder of the year, I will be working with our assistant principal, Mr. Patrick Gustafson, our teachers, counselors, coaches, and the myriad of support staff to ensure we provide the best possible high school experience.

I look forward to welcoming you back to school in August and if you find yourself at the high school over the summer, please stop by and introduce yourself.  In the meantime, please accept my best wishes for a restful and relaxing summer vacation!

Brian Falcone
